18" compo Shirley Temple doll from 1934. This Shirley was one of two that were owned by sisters (the other is the one in the Anchor dress). They are in incredible condition, but you can really see how different they are from the later dolls, note the very pale coloring, and light blond hair and loose curls. Shirley is wearing a very rare early Sailboat dress, this dress wasn't in a movie, but was one from Shirley's personal collection and was seen in some of the earliest pictures of Shirley with the Shirley Temple dolls.
