   MY SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL COLLECTION

I became a fan of Shirley Temple in 1989 when I read her autobiography. I started looking through the antique shows for any Shirley Temple Items that I could find from there. I got my first compo Shirley Temple doll in 1990, I paid for the doll by saving up my babysitting money ($2/hour at the time!), and from there I was hooked! Over the last 14 years, I've gotten a very nice collection, and here is why. I set a limit for the number of dolls that I have, and I constantly upgrade. Anytime I find a better doll, I'll sell the one I had to pay for it. Collecting is an investment, and it really keeps everything reasonable by doing it that way. Currently, I only collect the compo dolls, they are like works of art, once you see one in person, you really appreciate how beautiful they are...Enjoy!
